A body is moving with a velocity of 12 m/s and it comes to rest in 18 metre what was the velocity?

Using the formula :- v 2 =u 2 +2as  {u=12 , v=0 and s=18}

Then a= - 144/36 = -4m/s 2

It is having the acceleration of the body is -4m/s 2.
