A body is moving with a velocity of 12m/s and it comes to rest in 18m, what was the acceleration.

a =  \frac{v - u}{t}
where a is the acceleration, v is the final velocity, u is the initial velocity and t is time.
so Here is your answer ⬇️
We have v = 0
u = 12
t = 18 minutes
Time should be in second so 18 minutes= 18×60 = 1080 seconds.


Now the equation is
a =  \frac{0 - 12}{1080}  \\ a =  \frac{ - 12}{1080}  \\ a =  - 0.1111111111111111 \\ a =  - 0.12
acceleration is -0.12m/s^2

Here negative sign means acceleration is opposite to the velocity
