The displacement from the tower = 20 m

Horizontal velocity of the body = v = 10 m/s

Height of the tower = h = 20 m

g = acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s²

For the time taken by the body to reach the ground we will use , h = 1/2 gt²

=> h = 1/2 gt²

=> t² = (2 × 20)/10

=> t = 2 seconds

Let the horizontal displacement of the body from the pole be x.

Using , x = vt

=> x = 10 × 2

=> x = 20 m

The displacement of the body from the tower = 20 m
