Given that H= R

H = u2 sin2 θ /2g
​R = u2sin 2 θ /g 

so, u2 sin2 θ /2g = u2sin 2 θ /g 
as sin 2θ  = 2 sinθ cosθ 

so u2 sin2 θ /2g =  2u2sinθcosθ  /g

  we get  tan θ = 4
        or,      θ= tan-1 (4)
