A body is projected with velocity u such that its horizontal range and maximum vertical heigh
are same. The maximum height is:
8u^2/17g

16u2
(B)
(C)
(D)
17g
79
442
(A)
29
3g
my confusion is when we know for maximum height tan theta must be 45° means theta is 45° ..then why do we find the sin theta separately

Answer:

hope it helps..........

Here, we have to find theta separately bcoz at 90 degree particle show maximum height but then range will be zero.

it means the question is not talking about general situation of maximum height.

He is asking about the maximum height in the situation provided by him That is (Range = Max height)
