Given

velocity (v) = 50 m/s

acceleration = 10 m/s

Required formulas

acceleration = velocity / time

velocity = displacement / time

Answer

acceleration = \frac{velocity}{time} acceleration=

time

velocity

10 = \frac{50}{t} 10=

t

50

\begin{gathered}hence \\ t = \frac{50}{10} \end{gathered}

hence

t=

10

50

hence the time required is 5 seconds

Now

velocity = \frac{displacement}{time} velocity=

time

displacement

Here, displacement is the distance travelled

hence

50 = \frac{s}{5} 50=

5

s

hence

{displacement} = 5 \times 50displacement=5×50

hence

the maximum distance travelled by the object is 250 m

hence your answer should be 250 meter

I hope this answer is helpful to you

if it is then like it and rate it

u=50m/s

g=−10m/s²

The velocity at the highest point will be zero

Thus,

v=0

Height can be calculated as,

v²   −u² =2gs

0−2500=−20s

s=125m

Time can be calculated as,

v=u+gt

0=50+(−10)t

t=5sec
