a body is thrown horizontally from top of tower of height 5m it touches the ground at a distance of 10 m from foot of tower the initial velocity??

Accept that the body is tossed vertically with speed v . The vertical speed is zero. In this way, the time taken to achieve the ground will be
T =√(2h/g)
= √(2*5)/10
= 1 cm
Here we have given that R = 10m
At that point
The speed is R/t = 10m/sec.

H=5m

R=10m

R=u√2h/g

10=u√2×5/10

So,

10=u√1

U= 10 m/s
