Answer:

Initial velocity = 20 m/s

Acceleration = 10 m/

Time = 2 sec

V = u - at

=> V = 20 - 10 × 2

=> V = 0 m/s

The velocity of the body after 2 sec is 0 m/s.

Given:

  • Acceleration (a) = -10m/s²
  • Time (t) = 2 seconds
  • Initial velocity (u) = 20m/s

To find:

  • Final velocity of the body (v).

Solution:

★ Using first eqⁿ of motion;

v = u + at

➟ v = 20 + (-10) × 2

➟ v = 20 - 20

v = 0m/s

  • Hence, the velocity of the body after 2 seconds is 0m/s.
