It's final velcity will be (v) =0
IT'S INITIAL VELOCITY (U)=98 M/S
RETARDATION (A)=9.8 M/S2
SO, AS FORMULA,
V=U-AT( because it is a case of retardation)
OR, T=V+U/A
OR, T=0+98/9.8
or,. t=980/98=10
so, we got t=10s
Using again formula,
s=ut-1/2at^2
or, s=98*10-1/2*9.8*10*10
or,. s=980-490
ot,. s=490m
