A body is thrown vertically upward .

at maximum height velocity of body = 0

use kinematics formula ,

v² = u² + 2as

here v = 0

a = -g

s = H

0 = u² -2gH

H = u²/2g

hence, maximum height attained by body u²/2g

option ( c) is correct .

Hope thse helps u
