Velocity = 0 m/s
Acceleration = 9.8m/s2 in downward direction.

 like think of it this way:

if it is still going up at any instant of time, this means it has some velocity at that very instant in upward direction (similar for downward direction).

For it to not be going anywhere at a particular instant, it's velocity must be ZERO. And when we say, at highest point of flight, we basically mean it is not going anywhere right at that instant of time.

So now I know it's velocity at highest point of flight is ZERO.

For acceleration, I know acceleration is given by Newton's second law equation for constant mass,

F = m*a

So,

a = mg/m = g (since only weight is acting on it, neglecting air drag)

acting downwards.
