v^2 -u^2 = 2as

intial will be 0 as body go up and the stop for few second and came down due to influence of gravity .

v^2= 21 x 2 x 9.8

v = 6.4 m/s

Ravishkumar11: what is the time taken to strike the ground
TheEdward: no need of time
Ravishkumar11: cab u find the time when it will strike

v= 0
u= 0 as we are throwing the object upward it will stop . and again gain velocity due to g
g=9.8m/^2
h=21
using formula
v^2+u^2=2as
v^2=2×9.8×21
v^2=41.16
v=6.415m/s
