Consider \triangle{BOC}

BC=Rcos60°

Similarly.

AC= Rsin60°

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Net displacement in x axis

=R-Rcos60

=R(1-cos60)

Net displacement in y axis

=R sin60

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

TOTAL DISPLACEMENT

=\sqrt{x^{2}{+}y^{2}}

Solving we get

=\sqrt{2R(1-cos60)}

=\sqrt{2R×2sin60÷2}

={2Rsin30}

=2R×(1÷2)

=R

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
