A bus is moving along a straight road with a
uniform acceleration of 2 m/s2. If the initial velocity
of the bus is 12 m/s, then what is the distance
covered by it in the 3rd second of motion?
(1) 22 m
(2) 12 m
(3) 5 m
var 17 m
A body starts with an initial velocity 10 m/s and
has a constant acceleration 2 m/s2 in the direction
of initial velocity. Its average velocity over an in-
terval of 10 seconds is
(1) 15 m/s
(2) 17.5 m/s
3.
131 20 m/s
(4)
22.5 m/s

Explanation:

1st-

S=ut+1/1at²

displacement in 3seconds.

S=12×3+1/2×2×3²

By same method find displacement in 2second

Displacement in 3rd second=displacement in 3 Seconds - displacement in 2 seconds

Solve yourself.

2nd

Average velocity=initial velocity+final

velocity/2

initial velocity=10m/s

V=u+at

so final velocity =30m/s

Now calculate yourself.

sonalkumarpathak8405: in first answer is 17
sonalkumarpathak8405: try again
sonalkumarpathak8405: it will come
sonalkumarpathak8405: S= 45 in 3 seconds
sonalkumarpathak8405: S=28 in 2 seconds
sonalkumarpathak8405: subtract
