Given that,

A body moves along the circumference of a circular track of radius R.

To find,

The displacement of a body when it  covers 3/4 of it circumference.

Solution,

When a body covers 3/4 of it circumference, then a right triangle is formed inside the circle such that its base and perpendicular is R. The displacement of the body is given by the hypotenuse of right angled triangle. It is given by :

D=\sqrt{R^2+R^2} \\\\D=\sqrt{2} R

So, the displacement of the body is \sqrt{2} R.
