We would use 1 st equation of motion
v=u+at
u=2m/s
v=0
a=-0.25
v=u+at
0=2+(-0.25)*t
-2=-0.25t
t=-2/-0.25
=8s
v=u+at
u=2m/s
v=0
a=-0.25
v=u+at
0=2+(-0.25)*t
-2=-0.25t
t=-2/-0.25
=8s
