a body moves with a velocity of 10 metre per second for 10 seconds and then with a velocity of 20 metre per second in the same direction for 40 seconds find its average velocity​

D1=v*t

=10*10

= 100 m

Distance travelled in next 40 sec:

D2=v2 * t2

=20*40

= 800 m

Average velocity= total distance / total time

av = (100+800)/(10+40)

= 900/50

= 18 m/s

So the answer is 18 m /s...
