U=20m/s
A=4m/s^2
T=2second

V=u + at
V=20+4*2
V=28m/s

Displacement=Distance as object is traveling in a straight line

S=ut + 1/2at^2
S=20*2+1/2*4*2^2
S=40+8
S=48m

Hello!

A body moving along a straight line at 20 m per second undergoes an acceleration of 4 m per second square after 2 seconds. What will be its speed also find displacement ?

* What will be its speed, we have the following data:

Vi (initial velocity) = 20 m/s

Vf (final velocity) = ? (in m/s)

t (time) = 2 s

a (acceleration) = 4 m/s²

We apply the data to the formula of the hourly function of the velocity, let us see:

V_f = V_i + a*t

V_f = 20 + 4*2

V_f = 20 + 8

\boxed{\boxed{V_f = 28\:m/s}}\Longrightarrow(final\:velocity)\:\:\:\:\:\:\bf\green{\checkmark}

* Find displacement, we have the following data:

Vi (initial velocity) = 20 m/s

t (time) = 2 s

a (acceleration) = 4 m/s²

d (displacement) = ? (in m)

By the formula of the space of the Uniformly Varied Movement, it is:

d = v_i * t + \dfrac{a*t^{2}}{2}

d = 20 * 2 + \dfrac{4*(2)^{2}}{2}

d = 40 + \dfrac{4*4}{2}

d = 40 + \dfrac{16}{2}

d = 40 + 8

\boxed{\boxed{d = 48\:m}}\longleftarrow(displacement)\:\:\:\:\:\:\bf\green{\checkmark}
