For s = 3 t = 1

We get

3 = u + 0.5 * a -- (1)

For s = 8 and t = 2

We get

8 = 2 * u + 0.5 * a * 4 -- (2 )

Solving ( 1 ) and ( 2 ),

we get

u = 2 m/s and a = 2 m/s²
