Given:-

→Initial velocity of the car=10m/s

→Distance covered by the car=300m

→Final velocity of the car=20m/s

To find:-

→Time taken

Solution:-

Firstly,let's calculate the acceleration of the car.

By using the 3rd equation of motion,we get:-

=>v²-u²=2as

=>(20)²-(10)²=2×a×300

=>400-100=600a

=>300=600a

=>a=300/600

=>a=0.5m/

Thus,we got acceleration of the car as 0.5m/.

Now,by using the 1st equation of motion,we get:-

=>v=u+at

=>20=10+0.5×t

=>20-10=0.5t

=>10=0.5t

=>t=10/0.5

=>t=20s

Thus,time taken by the car to achieve the

final velocity is 20s.
