Answer:

Explanation:

Hey there !

Thanks for the question !

Solution:

Given Information:

Force = 200 N

Mass = 25 Kg

Displacement = 64 m

To Find:

Time Taken for covering the displacement

Illustration:

Now we need acceleration gained by the object during motion. So we know that, Force is Mass multiplied by Acceleration. Hence we can find acceleration using that formula.

Formula to be used:

Force = Mass × Acceleration

So 200 N = 25 Kg × Acceleration

=> 200 N / 25 Kg = Acceleration

=> Acceleration = 8 m/s²

So now we can calculate the displacement by the second equation of motion which is:

s = ut + 1/2 at²

Here,

s = Displacement

u = Initial Velocity

a = Acceleration

t = Time Taken

Substituting in the formula we get,

64 m = 0 ( t ) + 1/2 ( 8 ) ( t² )

Since the object covered 64 m we calculate Displacement to be 64 m. And since the object starts from rest we take Initial Velocity to be 0 m/s.

=> 64 = 0 + 4t²

=> 64 = 4t²

=> 64 / 4 = t²

=> t² = 16

=> t = √16

=> t = + 4 or - 4

But time cannot be negative. Hence + 4 is the answer.

Hence the body takes 4 seconds to cover a displacement of 64 m with mass 25 kg.

Hope my answer helped !

Explanation:

Mass = 25 kg

Force = 200N

Distance =64 m

Time taken =?

As we know,

Force = mass ×acceleration

=> 200= 25 × acceleration

=> acceleration = 200/25

=> acceleration = 8m/s^2

Also,

S= 1/2at^2

=> 64 = 1/2×8×t^2

=> 64 = 4× t^2

='> t^2 = 64/4

=> t^2 = 16

=> t = 4 sec

Time taken = 4 sec ANS.
