Using second law, we know

F=maF=ma

⇒a=Fm=6⇒a=Fm=6

Now, u=0u=0 and a=6a=6 and s=12s=12.

Using s=ut+at22s=ut+at22,

12=6t22=3t212=6t22=3t2

⇒t=2⇒t=2
