A body of mass 10^3 kg at rest is acted on by a force 200N. How much time is required for the body to acquire a velocity 20m/s S.

we have mass of body=1000kg
force acting on it=200N

we know a=F/m
=200/1000=0.2m/s^2


now u=0m/s
v=20m/s


we know v=at +u
20=0.2t +0
t=20/0.2 =100

so time taken is 100s.
