given :

mass of body (m) = 10 kg

initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

final velocity (v) = 30 m/s

time taken = 10 sec

FIRST CASE :

we have to find acceleration :

by formula

v = u + at

putting values

30 = 0 + 10 a

30 = 10 a

a = 30/10

hence , acceleration = 3

as we know , force = mass . aceleration

force = 10 . 3

force = 30 N

SECOND CASE :

AS car is moving with final velocity , in second case that velocity will be taken as initial .

hence ,

initial velocity (u)= 30 m / s

final velocity (v) = 0 m/s (as brakes are applied)

time taken (t) = 5 sec

mass will be constant or same as 10 kg

again , by formula

v = u + at

0 = 30 + 5a

5a = - 30

a = - 30 / 5

acceleration = - 6

now , force

f = m.a

f = 10.-6

f = - 60 N

hence, accelerating force = 30N

stopping force = - 60 N

hope it helps u !!!

mark as brainliest plzz appreciate my hardwork mate
