A body of mass 10 kg is moving with velocity of 10 ms. A force acts for 5 seconds to reduce its velocity to 2 ms". Find the momentum of body before and after application of the force on it.​

Mass of the body=10 kg

Initial velocity, u=10m/s

Final velocity, v=2 m/s

Momentum before force,

p=mu=10×10=100kg m/s

Momentum after force,

p=mv=10×2=20kg m/s.
