A body of mass 4 kg is moving with a speed of 10 m/s. Find it's kinetic energy.

{\huge{\underbrace{\rm{Answer}}}}

Given:

  • Mass of the body ( m ) = 4 kg
  • Velocity ( v ) = 10 m/s

To find:

Find it's kinetic energy.

Solution:

Mass = 4 kg

Velocity = 10 m/s

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{Kinetic\:energy=\dfrac{1}{2}mv^{2}}}}

Where,

  • m = mass of the body
  • v = velocity of the body

.°. Kinetic energy of the body \sf{\implies \dfrac{1}{2}mv^{2}}

\sf{\implies \dfrac{1}{2}×4×(10)^{2}}

\sf{\implies \dfrac{1}{2}×4×10×10}

\sf{\implies 200\:\:joules}

Therefore,the kinetic energy of the body is 200 joules .
