A body of mass 5kg remains at rest, If the force of 5 N is applied on the body for 10 S What will be its final velocity?​

Answer :-

Given :-

  • Mass = 5 kg
  • Initial velocity = 0
  • Force = 5 N
  • Time = 10 sec

To Find :-

  • Final velocity

Solution :-

We know that,

➩ Force = Mass × Acceleration

➩ 5 = 5 × a

➩ a = 5 / 5

➩ a = 1

Acceleration = 1 m/s²

Now, we have -

  • a = 1 m/s²
  • u = 0
  • t = 10 sec

Substituting the value in 1st equation of motion -

➩ v = u + at

➩ v = 0 + 1 × 10

➩ v = 10

Final velocity = 10 m/s
