A body of mass 70 kg when completely immersed in water displaces 20000 cm cube of water. Find the weight of body in in water and R.D. of material of a body

we get weight of body by dividing mass of body with volume of water

Mass = 70 kg

Weight of water displaced = 2000 cm³

Means; Weight = 2000 cm³

2×{10}^{-3} {cm}^{3}

Density of the substance = \dfrac{70}{2 \times {10}^{-3}}

= 35\:\times\:{10}^{3}

Relative Density = 

\dfrac{Density\:of\:substance}{Density\:of\:water}

= \dfrac{35 \times{10}^{3}}{{10}^{3}}

Relative Density of material of the object is \textbf{35}
