A body of mass 80 kg moving with 10 m/s collides with another body of mass 60 kg moving with 20 m/s. If after collision they entangle and continue to move. Determine their velocity after collision.

As we know the momentum is always conserved.
so, 
m1v1+m2v2 = (m1+m2)v
⇒80×10+ 60×20 = (80+60)×v
⇒140v = 200
⇒v = 200/140 = 1.43 m/s
