Answer = 5mgh/6

Given h = R/5

Potential Energy at surface of the earth, (PE₁) = -GMm/R²

Potential Energy at height h = R/5 , (PE₂) = -GMm/R + (R/5) = -5GMm/6R

ncrease in Potential energy = PE₂ - PE₁ = -5GMm/6R + GMm/R = GMm/6R

Using g = GM/R² and h = R/5

PE₂ - PE₁ = 5mgh/6

EASY WAY U NEED ?

REFER THE ONE BELOW

Increase in PE = mgR2 [ 1/R – 1/( R + h)]

Put R = 5h

Incr. in PE = 5mgh/6
