Answer:

if possible let 3+√3 be a rational number in the form a/b where ,they are co-primes

3+√3 = a/b

√3 = a/b - 3

√3 = a-3b / b

Here we can se that Rhs is integer and thus , rational ,which indicates that √3 is also rational

but that is contradiction to the fact that √3 is irrational .

hence ,3+√3 is irrational ....proved !!
