A body of voloume 100 cc is immersed completely in water contained in a jar. The weight of water and the jar before immersion of the body was 700 g. Calculate the weight of water and jar after immersion.

According to Archimidies principle

Upthrust force is

Force= weight of displaced water

= mass of displaced water*g

= density of water* volume displaced* g

= 1000* (100 / 100^3) * 9.8

= 9.8/10

= 0.98 newton
