Distance to be covered (s)= 6.4 m

Acceleration of the body (a) = g Sin 30° m/s^2

Acceleration of the body (a) = 9.8 × 0.5 = 4.9 m/s^2

Let the time taken to reach the bottom be t.

Initial velocity (u) = 0

Now, using the second equation of motion:

s = ut + \frac{1}{2} \times a \times t^2

6.4 = 0 + \frac{1}{2}\times 4.9 \times t^2

t = \sqrt{\frac{6.4 \times 2 }{4.9} }

t = 1.616 seconds

Hence, the time taken to reach the bottom is: t = 1.616 seconds
