Answer:

Displacement = 200 m

Velocity = 20 m/s

Explanation:

a = 2 m/s^2

t = 10 s

u = 0 m/s^2

v - u = at = 2 m/s^2 × 10 s = 20 m/s

=> v = 20 m/s + 0 m/s = 20 m/s

S = vt = 20 m/s × 10 s = 200 m

Question:-

  • A body start from rest and moves with a uniform acceleration of 2m/s².what will be it's velocity and displacement at the end of 10 second.

Given:-

  • Body starts from rest ( u = 0 )
  • Moves with an acceleration of 2m/s²
  • Time taken is 10 seconds

To Find:-

  • Find the distance travelled and final velocity.

Solution:-

Here ,

  • u = initial velocity
  • v = final velocity
  • s = distance
  • a = acceleration
  • t = time

Formula to be Used:-

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + 1/2 at²

First ,

We have find the final velocity:-

⟹ v = u + at

⟹ v = 0 + 2( 10 )

⟹ v = 20m/s

Now ,

We have to find the distance:-

⟹ s = ut + 1/2 at²

⟹ s = 1/2 × 2 × 10²

⟹ s = 10 × 10

⟹ s = 100m

Hence ,

  • Distance travelled is 100m
