a body starting from rest accelerates uniformly along a straight line at the rate of 10m/s^2. it moves for 2s with uniform velocity of 50m/s. then it retards uniformly and comes to rest at 3s. Draw the velocity time graph of the body and find the total distance travelled by it

Answer:

Total distance travelled = Area under the v – t graph

= 1/2 × 50 × (10 + 2)

= 300 m
