As we know that:-

a = 30 m/s²

t = 8 s

S = ut + 1/2 at²

S = 0 + 1/2 x 30 x 8 x 8

S = 960 m

Explanation:

using 3rd equation of motion

s=ut+1/2at^2

where s is distance

u is initial velocity

t is time

a is acceleration

here, s=to find

u=0

a=30 ms^2

t=8 sec

substituting values,we get

s=0+1/2(30)(8)(8)

s=960 m
