What is the value of acceleration.

Solution,

Using the equation of motion, s = ut + 1/2at², it can be substituted by-

100 = 0 + 1/2a ×  5× 5

100= 1/2a × 25

1/2a = 100/25

1/2a = 4

Therefore a (acceleration) = 4 × 2 = 8m/s square.
