a body starts. from rest and move along a straight line.it is uniformly accelerated at a rate of 2m/s^2 for 10s for. next 20s ,the body moves with uniform velocity .Then a negative acceleration of 2m/s^-2 act on the body till the. body. come to rest again.draw velocity -time graph for entire motion

Answer:

First case (for 10 s),

u = 0 m/s ; a = 2 m/s^2 ; t = 10 sec

v = u + at

v = 0 + 2 x 10

v = 20 m/s

Second case (for next 20 s),

v = 0 m/s ; a = -2 m/s^2 ; u = 20 m/s

v = u + at

0 = 20 + (-2) x t

-20 = -2t

2t = 20

t = 20/2

t = 10 sec
