A body starts from rest and moves with uniform acceleration 2m/s^2 in a straight line.
a) What is its velocity after 5s?
b) How far has it travelled in this time?
c) After how long will the body be 100m after its starting point?

Its really urgent...Will mark as brainliest...

Explanation:

a=2

u=0

a) t=5s

v=u+at

v=0+5×2=10m/s//

b)

s=ut+1/2 at²

s=0×5+1/2×2×5²

s=25m//

c)

s=100m

s1+s2=100

25+s2=100

s2=75m

at that instance u=10

a=2

v²=u²+2as

v²=10²+2×2×75

v²=400=>v=20m/s

v=u+at

20=10+2t

t=5s

time takene to cover full 100m =

t for covering 25m+75m=5+5=10s//

Answer:

velocity=10m/s, distance travelled s=25 m

Explanation:

given,acceleration a=2m/s^2,t+5 s

v=u+at(first eq of motion)

u=0(body starts from rest)

v=0+at

v=at

v=2*5=10m/s^2

next to find distane covered we use

v^2=u^2+2as (third eq of motion)

applying the values we get

(10)^2=0+2*2*s

100=4s

s=100/4=25m
