Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

What is acceleration, I ask of you?

Simply, the rate of change of velocity.

How do we measure a rate change?

We divide how much it (the quantity at hand) has changed by the time it took for that change to happen.

The acceleration

= rate of change of velocity

= change in velocity/time frame

= ∆v/∆t

= 10/2

= 5m/s^2
