a body travelling along straight line travelled 1/3rd of the total dist. with velocity 4m/s the remaning of dist. was covered with velocity 2m/s for half the time and 6m/s for next half the time calculate average speed of whole motion.

Answer:

Let total distance 's'

Let time coverd for first one third distance be t1

then t1=s/34=s12

t2 be time for next two journeys

2s3=2t2+6t2=8t2

t2=s12

averagevelocity=TotaldistaneTotaltime

=st1+2t2

=ss12+2s12

=4m/s

I hope u mark me as a brainliest and always here for u
