Calculate the velocity and the distance travelled in 40 s.

Explanation:

u=120m/s

t=40sec

a=20m/s^2

using 1st equation of motion

v=at-u

= 800-120

= 680 m/s

now by using 3rd equation

s=ut+at^2/2

=120×40 + 20×1600/2

=2090 m
