That time velocity is V₁

Again the body travels B to A.

That time velocity is V₂

We know Average speed=

 \frac{2V₁V₂}{V₁ + V₂}

  = \frac{2 \times 60 \times 40}{60 + 40}

 =  \frac{4800}{100}

= 48 m/s

Now we know Average velocity =

 \frac{total \: displacement}{total \: time}

 = 0 \: (because \: displacement \: is \: zero \: here)
