Answer :-

Given :

S ( speed from A to B ) ➡ 40 m/s

S' ( speed from B to A) ➡ 60 m/s

To find = •) Average speed and •) Velocity

Formula :

A.S ( Average Speed ) ➡

total \: distance \: travelled \: (d) \div total \: time \: taken \: (t)

=

d \div t

Solution :

A.S = ( 40 + 60 ) m / 2 s

➡ A.S = 100 m / 2 s

➡ A.S = 50 m/s

★ The unit is m/s

★ The average speed is 50 m/s
