Hi friend,

For t1 sec : a acc.
For t2 sec : a2 acc.
Average acc. = ∆v/∆t
where ∆v = total velocity
∆t = total time taken
a = v1/t1
a2 = v2/t2
If the body started from rest
Therefore average acc. = (v1 + v2)/(t1 + t2).
