The answer is 0.1 m/s

GIVEN

A body undergoes uniform circular motion along a circular path of radius 0.5m.it completes half the revolution in 10seconds.

TO FIND

The linear velocity.

SOLUTION

It is given,

Radius of the circular path = 0.5m

Time taken to complete half revolution = 1 seconds

Let the linear velocity = v

Now,

Linear velocity = Displacement/Time taken

Displacement in half revolution = Diameter of the circular path = 0.5 × 2 = 1 meter.

Therefore,

v = 1/10

= 0.1 m/s

Hence,The answer is 0.1 m/s
