A body weighs 120 N on the earth. Find its approximate weight on the moon. A stone thrown upwards attains a maximum height of 19.6 m. Find the velocity with which it was thrown.

Given

H =19.6

u= ?

v =0

a = -g

Now,

v²-u²=2as

-u²=-2gH

u²=2gh

u=√2gh

=√2*9.8*19.6

=√19.6*19.6

=19.6m/s8
