A body weighs 600g in air, 450g in water and 480g in a liquid.Then what is the relative density of the solid?

RD = frac{W_mathrm{air}}{W_mathrm{air} - W_mathrm{water}},


= 600/ ( 600 - 450 )
= 600/150
= 4 , This is the relative density of the solid wrt water
