A bonus of Rs. 1000 is to be divided among three people so that Rohit receives twice as much as Sachin, who receives one-fifth as much as Gagan. How much money should Gagan receive ?

Let Sachin (Tendulkar) gets Rs. x
Therefore , Rohit (Sharma) gets Rs.2*x=2x
Given,Sachin gets 1/5 of what Gagan(???) gets.
Therefore, Gagan gets=Rs.x*5=Rs.5x
Total money=Rs.1000
Therefore, By the condition,
x+2x+5x=1000
or,8x=1000
or,x=1000/8=125.
Therefore, Sachin gets Rs.125,
Rohit Gets Rs.125*2=Rs.250
and Gagan gets Rs.125*5=Rs.675.
