m = 20kg

g = 10m/s^2

Thus,

Thrust applied by the book on table (F) = (mass) × g

=> F = m × g

=> F = 20 × 10

=> F = 200N

Now,

The book applies the thrust on the table in the direction of Gravitational Acceleration thus it's magnitude must be taken +ve.

Therefore, F = +200N

Hecne, the book applies a thrust of 200N on the table.
